Every project is unique. Karen is an independent appraiser providing unbiased valuation services free from third party influences and applies the highest levels of ethical standards to each project since 2010.
Karen appraises American and European art, prints, silver, porcelain, ceramics, sculpture, antique furniture and other decorative arts. She is qualified to prepare appraisals for submission to the Internal Revenue Service and has prepared appraisals for museum collections, estate attorneys, accountants and insurance companies.
Her varied background as a corporate relocation consultant working with commercial collections as well as working in both the insurance and banking industries have given her the tools necessary to tailor each project to meet each client’s needs. She is a graduate of the Appraisal Studies program at Rhode Island School of Design and provides an equal level of attention to one object as entire estates. The results are clear, concise appraisals that provide clients with the knowledge needed to proceed in making important decisions.
