Past and Current Board Positions 
  • American Society of Appraisers. Former President of the Boston Chapter which consists of over six different disciplines and 200 members (2016—2018). Attained the highest level of Accredited Senior Appraiser. I was asked to sit on the national board of Personal Property.
  • Providence Pottery and Porcelain Club. President and Board Member (2016 - present)​
  • Barrington Preservation Society: Former board member and held several other positions including Museum Chair. This included management of Barrington Preservation Society’s Museum and staff. I also was the event chair for a fundraiser entitled “Celebration of Silver” which focused on Gorham Silver.

Other Relevant Work History 
  • Columnist for East Bay Newspaper’s “Trash or Treasure”. Created this bi-weekly column to generate interest in antiques and local history. Over 100 articles published.
  • Researched a previously undocumented pair of John Townsend chairs and had then authenticated. by the top specialist in Rhode Island furniture. They ultimately sold for over $150,000 due to my efforts. ​
  • Worked in conjunction with a client to organize and manage two exhibitions of a local previously unknown artist.
  • Rhode Island PBS “Discovery Show” Appraiser: Selected and participated in this televised fundraising event. Filmed in February, 2012. I was in charge of the silver table.
